Happy hours are great for people who want to save money yet still want to dine out. During happy hour, restaurants will typically offer a select few items from their full menu in reduced sizes for people to sample and enjoy at a fraction of the cost.

Luckily, there are some restaurants that offer full-sized happy hour portions! We’re all for that.

Below is our list of our favorite happy hours in Seattle. Check out the spots and let us know what you think!

This list is in alphabetical order.

#1 5 Point Cafe

5 Point Cafe has been a Seattle staple since 1929. This dive bar has great AM and PM happy hours. Come in early for discounted breakfast food and drink and again in the PM for lunch and dinner.

You also have to try the 5-Point Special while you’re here. It’s a can of local beer plus a shot of well whiskey for only $6 (it used to be only $3.50!). It’s a great way to get the night started.

#2 Alder & Ash

Alder & Ash is a new American restaurant located in Downtown Seattle in the Sheraton Hotel. They offer an amazing craft cocktail menu with classic and signature cocktails created by their Beverage Manager, Chakra.

We also love their happy hour bites! Here you’ll find half a dozen oysters for only $10.

Happy hour is daily from 4-6 pm and they also offer a $55 3-course Pre Fixe menu that is absolutely delectable!

#3 Ba Bar

Ba Bar serves delicious Vietnamese food and creative craft cocktails. Their Crispy Imperial Rolls are delicious! They also serve Hanoi (Northern Vietnamese Style) pho that is worth trying.

Happy hour is daily from 1 pm-5 pm. See the menus.

Our favorite deals include Sài Gòn Chicken Wings (6 for $8.50), Xíu Mại meatballs ($6), Bánh Ướt rice rolls ($9), Crispy Imperial Rolls ($9), Soup noodles for $9.50, and beverages from $8-$12.

#4 Bangrak Market

Bangrak Market serves Thai Street Food in a lively setting. Dining here will make you feel like you’ve been transported to Thailand’s vibrant party scene.

We LOVE their happy hour offerings. Food items range from $5 to $8 and they have drink specials such as a signature cocktail of the day for only $8, beer, and wine.

Head over to Belltown with your friends to check them out!

#5 Belltown Provisions

Belltown Provisions offers amazing cocktails and lends its kitchen out to Los Tacos Mexicali. They offer select food and beverage deals during happy hour.

Our favorite drink is the Figure 8 (formerly known as the Busan Star). It has matcha and cold brew in it and is SUPER refreshing!

#6 Boat Bar

Previously known as Bar Melusine, Boat Bar offers a literal happy hour from 5-6 pm. They offer a seafood-focused menu with small plates and fresh oysters.

#7 Barolo Ristorante

Barolo Ristorante is the sister restaurant of Cinque Terre and List (both are also our favorites!). If Cinque Terre is too busy, you can always hop over to Barolo and vice versa.

Our favorite dishes here are the rigatoni and caprese salad. They offer 50% off their bar food list and beverage discounts.

Happy hour runs daily from 3 pm – 6:30 pm and again from 9 – 11:00 pm.

#8 Ben Paris

Ben Paris is located downtown near Pike Place Market and offers cocktails for $10 and under and a happy hour tasting menu with beverage pairing.

It’s a swanky place located in the State Hotel and is great for a romantic date night and brunch.

#9 Cinque Terre

Cinque Terre is one of our favorite happy hours!

They have discounts on wine, beer, oysters, pasta, and more. Their entire bar food menu is 50% off during happy hour. Beverages are discounted with bottles of red and white for only $24!

Happy hour runs daily from 3 pm – 6:30 pm and again late night from 9 pm – 10 pm. They also offer happy hour ALL DAY on Sundays!

#10 Darkalino’s

Darkalino’s is a newly opened restaurant located in Seattle’s oldest neighborhood, Pioneer Square. They are an Italian Deli that serves fresh focaccia bread and handmade pastas such as ragú with rigatoni and pomodoro with pappardelle.

What makes Darkalino’s stand out from other restaurants is that it’s a mixed-use space that also serves as a café, bar, community center, and even apparel boutique.

Happy hour is daily from 2-5 pm and offers food and beverage specials. During happy hour, all their pastas are $5 off! It’s a great way to try all that they have to offer.

#11 Deadline

Deadline happy hour runs daily from 3-6 pm and includes drinks and food. It’s a great place to get craft cocktails, burgers, and fresh oysters.

#12 Fat’s Chicken & Waffles

Fat’s Chicken & Waffles is known for exactly what’s in their name, chicken and waffles!

Fat’s happy hour is Wednesday-Thursday from 5-7 pm and includes food and drink specials.

#13 Fiasco

Fiasco is a restaurant in Fremont. They have daily specials alongside their happy hour offerings.

We highly recommend their pasta, pizza, and craft cocktails.

#14 Flintcreek Cattle Co

Flintcreek Cattle Co. offers happy hour food and drinks in their bar area only. Their menu includes steaks, a burger for only $10, and select classic cocktails for only $8!

They have a daily happy hour from 4 pm-5:30 pm.

#15 Herb and Bitter

Herb and Bitter is located in Capitol Hill and has a happy time menu! Their menu has small bites and offers a different cocktail special for each day of the week.

Their happy time is Wednesday through Saturday from 4 pm – 6 pm and on Sundays.

#16 Il Bistro

Il Bistro is located in Pike Place Market and offers a delicious happy hour menu with cocktails. We love their duck-fat fries and tender calamari.

They also have $5 wells and $10 classic cocktails during happy hour. Come early on Thursdays to enjoy live jazz music.

#17 Japonessa

Japonessa has fantastic happy hour deals that include rolls, small plates, and cocktails. They also have a happy hour chirashi (our favorite).

Visit them at one of their two locations in Downtown Seattle or Bellevue.

#18 Kin Len Thai Night Bites

Kin Len Chicken Wings

Kin Len Thai Night Bites is a very fun and hip Thai restaurant in Fremont serving Thai street food. They offer VERY affordable happy hour plates (most are under $10) as well as cocktails and beverages.

You NEED to order their Kin Len Chicken Wings with sticky rice. The happy hour portion only comes with 2 wings but it’s very filling with the rice.

Their happy hour is available every day from 3 PM – 6 PM and again from 9 PM to 10 PM.

#19 Kokkaku

We love the happy hour menu at Kokkaku!

Kokkaku is a Japanese-Italian fusion restaurant. They offer Italian-inspired plates such as cicchetti, pasta, fresh oysters, and drinks on their happy hour menu.

#20 Le Coin

Le Coin happy hour is definitely worth checking out! Oysters are 50% off and their grilled lamb shoulder and braised pork short rib are delicious!

Their happy hour runs Monday through Sunday from 4-6 pm and includes both food and beverage deals.

#21 List Restaurant

List is one of our favorite restaurants in Seattle. Their truffle cream gnocchi is amazing. Pair it with their spicy meatballs for a creamy rose sauce combo.

They also have happy hour bottles of red and white wine for only $24 and their food list is 50% off during happy hour.

Happy hours are all day Sunday and Monday and from 4-6 and 9-close Tuesday – Friday.

#22 Momiji

Momiji is a local favorite when it comes to sushi.

Happy hour is every day from 4-6 pm and includes food and drink specials.

Visit their locations in South Lake Union and Capitol Hill.

#23 Mr. West

Mr. West offers a beverage happy hour Mon-Fri from 3-6 pm with $2 off cocktails and 30% off bottles of wine.

#24 Otium Grill & Greens

Otium Grill & Green is located in the Astra Hotel in South Lake Union and it’s a super swanky place to dine!

They have daily happy hour from 3-5 PM and offer food and drink specials.

Our favorites are the Kraken calamari, blistered shishito peppers, and burger and fries plate. They also offer $4 off cocktails.

#25 Ozzie’s

Ozzie’s is known for their nightly karaoke (starts at 9 PM) and daily menu specials. On non-game days, they also offer a generous happy hour with $4.50 wells and other drink specials.

#26 Reckless Noodles

Reckless Noodles is a modern noodle joint in Central District.

Their happy hour menu offers craft cocktails and small plates ranging from $3 to $6 dollars.

#27 Rondo Japanese

Rondo happy hour runs daily from 2:30 pm – 5 pm. Their happy hour menu includes their tasty fried chicken and bento box. Drinks include whiskey shots, high balls, and more.

#28 Sal Y Limon

Sal Y Limon has an amazing happy hour menu. We love their soups, salads, and the Ilegales, which are like a quesadilla on steroids. They also have delicious margaritas that you do not want to miss out on.

Happy hour is unfortunately not available on event nights at the Climate Pledge Arena.

#29 The Sitting Room

Al Pastor Tacos

The Sitting Room is located in Queen Anne and serves Mexican fare along with craft cocktails and craft beers.

Their Aperitivo Hour is from 4-5 PM Tuesday through Saturday. Enjoy $10 signature cocktails and some small bites.

If you’re hungry, we highly recommend their burritos, tacos, and crunch wraps.

Dogs are also welcome on the patio.

#30 Smith

Smith is a super vibey restaurant and bar located in Capitol Hill.

Their happy hour is daily from 4-6 pm and again from 8:30 PM to Close. Their happy hour includes food and drinks. They also offer a daily cocktail special that we loved! (It was a Oaxaca Old Fashioned made with mezcal and chocolate bitters…yes please!)

Our favorite dishes are the tacos (chicken, fish, and carne asada protein options), Caesar salad, duck poutine, and chicken wings.

They also offer a selection of signature cocktails. Our favorite was the Nebula which Comes with blueberry and GLITTER!

The ambiance is such a vibe with paintings and taxonomy scattered throughout their dimly lit space. And the music? ON POINT.

#31 Some Random Bar

Some Random Bar has some pretty awesome deals! Get 25% off food on Mondays and happy hour is all day on Sundays.

They serve craft cocktails and a pretty tasty food menu.

#32 South of Mill

South of Mill is an American restaurant with an exquisite food menu. They’re located in Pioneer Square. They have both food and beverage happy hour specials.

They also serve Meg’s Smashburgers Wednesday through Saturday from 2-4 PM.

#33 Taco City Taqueria

We are SO HAPPY Taco City Taqueria exists! They’re located in Columbia City and have an awesome happy hour menu with $8 cocktails and food items for under $10!

Their tacos are also super tasty! We love their deep fried fish tacos (you can get them grilled too), birria tacos, and the Cali Fries.

Everything was literally, *chef’s kiss* and we can’t wait to go back!

#34 Tavolata

Tavolata is known for their handmade pastas and other Italian dishes.

Happy hour is daily from 4:00PM – 6:00PM and includes small plates, pasta, craft cocktails, and more!

They have locations in Belltown, Capitol Hill, Fremont, and Redmond.

#35 Taylor Shellfish Farms

Taylor Shellfish Farms has a great happy hour menu for seafood lovers! It includes oysters and more.

#36 Toulouse Petit

Toulouse Petit is known for having the biggest happy hour menu in the world! They serve southern-style cuisine along with delicious craft cocktails.

Reservations are highly recommended, as they tend to get busy in the evenings. They also have late-night happy hour.

#37 Umi Sake House

Umi Sake House is a great place for date night. They have happy hour sushi and drinks.

#38 Via Tribunali

Via Tribunali is known for its delicious Napoli pizzas and pasta.

Via Tribunali offers a food and beverage happy hour at both their Capitol Hill and Queen locations Tue-Thu 4-6 pm! And at Capitol Hill ONLY on Fri + Sat 11pm-close.

#39 Victor Tavern

Victor Tavern‘s happy hour offers a delicious rotisserie chicken Ceasar salad that I am obsessed with. They also have polenta fries, burgers, pretzel bites, and happy hour drinks, which includes a refreshing French 75.

#40 Von’s 1000 Spirits

Von’s 1000 Spirits is located in Downtown Seattle at the Harbor Steps. They offer a delicious happy hour menu with $6 scratch martinis made with either vodka or gin. They also have a special drinks wheel that is spun every 30 minutes. Wheel deals last 30 minutes and drinks are always under $10!

What we love most here is their sourdough pasta. It’s made fresh in-house and topped with a creamy cheese sauce that you can’t stop eating. Pair it with the meatballs in marinara sauce for an even better time.

And what we love most is that Von’s happy hour menu includes FULL-SIZED servings. They do not skimp out on food or drink when you’re there.

Von’s 1,000 Spirits has locations in Downtown Seattle and Woodinville.

#41 Wasabi Sushi & Izakaya

Wasabi is located in Belltown and has an awesome happy hour menu. Their happy hours also run twice per day. Come in for their late-night happy hour menu.

Our favorite things to order are the tempura udon, chirashi bowl, happy hour sushi rolls, and lychee martini.

#42 Wayward Vegan

A 100% VEGAN happy hour? Yes, please!

All the plates are discounted during happy hour at Wayward Vegan. They also have delicious beverages to enjoy with your vegan plates.

#43 Yard House

Yard House is a chain restaurant but they have an awesome happy hour menu. We love their tacos, nachos, tuna ahi nachos, and chicken tenders. They also have beer and wine specials.

#44 Zig Zag

Zig Zag has an awesome happy hour with food and beverage specials.
