Wearing Running Bare Fight Club Tight and Free People Jesse Bra

Running Bare is an Australian based activewear brand that’s been around for over 30 years! In 1983, Brian and Corin Powell had a vision to provide Australian made, quality women’s sportswear, and they continue to deliver on this very promise, to this day. They create entire lines for women and offer products such as leggings, shorts, bras, tanks, tees and shirts.

For Running Bare, their mission statement is “made by women, for women. It really sums us up Running Bare knowing that women come in all shapes and sizes. They ensure that each of their collections have a flattering fit on the body, to make women look and feel good about themselves.

#1 Size: Per Running Bare’s size chart, I chose a medium. I was hoping the fabric would be different from my previous review of the Fight Club tight review, and it was! *whew* The Amina printed fabric is thinner and much more comfortable to wear throughout various seasons. I recommend sizing up in Running Bare. Their sizing runs small.

#2 Style:  Running Bare makes leggings, crops, shorts, tank tops, sport bras, jackets and more. They make only women’s clothing.

#3 Inseam:  The leggings have a 28″ inseam.

#4 Rise: The tights have a 6″ front rise and 8″ back rise (size Medium). The large rise is great for my ladies who got some booty.

#5 Waistband: Fight Club tight has a 4.5″ waistband. The waistband has a seam around the waistline for a stay put fit. There are also seams on the sides of the waistband. The waistband also has no pockets.

#6 Fabric

  • Fabric Content: RB Runway Fabric – 69% Nylon/31% Elastane blend
  • Fabric Feel: The fabric feels SUPER soft, lightweight and VERY silky when worn. The fabric is VERY stretchy. The fabric is comparable to Arthletic Wear and Yoga Democracy.
  • Fabric Performance:
    • Quick Drying and Dry Wicking (sweat evaporates at the surface within minutes)
    • 4-Way Stretch for a compressive and form flattering fit.
    • Fabric memory retains the legging elasticity.
  • Opacity: The fabric is white backed and does stretch a bit at the knees and bum area, but it’s not noticeable unless you look closely.
  • Fabric Features:
    • Grey logo printed on the front left hip of the pant.
    • No waistband pockets.

#7 When to Wear: Running Bare creates activewear for all facets of your life. I would wear these to workout, run errands and while lounging around.

#8 Cost: The leggings are a bit on the pricier side. The Fight Club Amina print leggings cost $110. Scroll down for discount codes to save on Running Bare.

#9 Gusset: Running Bare pants come with a triangle shaped, single layer gusset. The gusset is wide and provides great coverage.

#10 Stitch Seam: The Fight Club tights are made with flat fell seams for a flat and chafe free fit. There is one overlock seam around the inner bottom of the waistband.

#11 UPF Protection: Not disclosed.

#12 Made in Australia. With love! Over 70% of their range is manufactured and produced in Australia to ensure quality and fit is of the highest standard.

#13 Care Instructions: I machine wash with gentle detergent with like colors and hang dry. I hang to dry on a foldable drying rack such as this one

Should I Buy Running Bare?

I highly recommend Running Bare! I loved that the fabric is much thinner with this iteration and print. It was very comfortable to wear in warmer climates and I will definitely be wearing it often. The colorful print allows me to mix and match the leggings with a variety of items in my current closet. I especially recommend it with the Free People Movement Jesse crop top. The top is my current Summer obsession!

Running Bare also offers the Amina Print in a Valley of the Dolls crop top and Hear Me Roar 7/8 length bottoms.

This was a different outcome from my previous Running Bare review. I am so glad I gave them another try. Check out my previous Running Bare review here.
